Day 7 Santa Maria to Zamora

Zamora. We got in about 8 and walked to the alberque and checked in. Showered, found a market open on a Sunday and got groceries for dinner. Spaghetti with red sauce and fresh bread!


It's 10 by the time we eat dinner so no light for pictures of Zamora. It is a modern city lacking in the charm of Segovia.

Tomorrow is only a 14 kilometer day (about 8 miles) so it should be a breeze.

The alberque is amazing, and it's donation only so cheap!! Three stories with a centrifuge for wringing out clothes and a patio with clothes lines so I did laundry.
Kitchen is huge
Ding room is huge
Bedrooms are 9 beds each.

    Awesome! Of course he would find a guitar to play:) He doesn't look sunburned at all----But he does look happy!!!! Have a great day! Miss you both!

      Can't tell from the picture but he is red. No peeling so he should tan
